Brand-new 24-hour kids channel Disney Junior has secured a distribution deal with the National Cable Television Cooperative (NCTC) that will see more than 950 independent cable companies launch the network for kids ages two to seven over the next 90 days.
NCTC, a Kansas-based non-profit corporation that serves as a programming and hardware purchasing organization for its member companies, joins a growing list of Disney Junior affiliates that include Comcast, Cox Communications, Time Warner Cable, Cablevision, Bright House Networks and Verizon.
