In a move to increase its North American presence, Toronto, Canada-based licensing agent Studio Licensing has formed a strategic alliance with US licensing agency Established Brands Licensing.

Both companies will now work together to leverage brand opportunities in existing and new markets focusing on growth at retail.

Kids and adult entertainment brands brought together by the alliance include Cut the Rope, Angel Cat Sugar, Mix Master Final Force and Lolligag for North America, and the NBA, Elvis Presley and Stupid Factory Studios for Canada.

The latest partnership comes after Studio Licensing ended its 13-year licensing relationship with Nickelodeon and beefed up its kids portfolio in October 2011 by picking up the Lolligag and Mix Master Final Force properties.
