In conjunction with the return of its Yo Ho, Let’s Go Summer! multi-platform programming event set to run June 4 to August 24, Disney Junior US has introduced two new free, interactive iOS apps, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally and Jake’s Never Land Pirate School, to the Apple App Store.

Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Road Rally for iPad features appisodes that allow kids ages two to seven to learn counting, critical thinking and problem solving skills using the tapping, shaking, swiping, and dragging capabilities of the iPad.

The app marks the first time Disney Junior has integrated interactive content into an actual story for an iPad app, and is the first in a series of Disney Junior appisodes to be released this year.

Jake’s Never Land Pirate School gaming app for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch allows preschoolers to participate in challenges in sailing, music, flying, map and spyglass classes.

The Yo Ho, Let’s Go Summer! programming event is set to take place across all Disney Junior platforms (on demand, mobile and iTunes), and featured activities include a new online site accessible on DisneyJunior.com where users can unlock new games each week.

The event will also see new eps of Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Jungle Junction and Octonauts air.
