Spirit Halloween, a division of Spencer Gifts and the largest seasonal Halloween retailer in the US, has created a new licensing department to be headed up by industry veteran Eric Morse.

In his new role, Morse will oversee licensing initiatives through partnering with premier vendors and licensors and develop new in-store marketing programs.

Prior to joining Spirit Halloween, he was the director of licensing for global toys at Sesame Workshop and held positions at Hasbro Entertainment and Licensing. He was most recently the head of marketing for Dylan’s Candy Bar based in New York City.

Spirit’s nearly 1,000 North American store locations offer costumes and accessories for infants/toddlers, children, tweens, teens, adults and pets.
