Brand agency Evolution and Rollman Entertainment, both based in L.A. have picked up the rights to Kevin Grevioux’s upcoming comic IP Monstroids.

The robotic take on a classic monster theme (think: Frankenborg, Gearwolf and Draculoid) was created for an upcoming comic book series, and will now be developed  into an animated series targeting boys six to 12 with a robust brand strategy including licensing and retail development program by the partnership.

Former Marvel and Saban/Fox Family Productions president Eric Rollman will spearhead development and production of the TVseries, which is expected to be ready for delivery by Q2 2014. For its part, the growing team at Evolution  are working on building a mass-market retail program  for the property to roll out in  Q4 that same year.
