Disney XD has picked up a second season of boy-skewing animated series Ultimate Spider-Man for its Marvel Universe programming block.
The series, which follows the adventures of everyone’s friendly neighborhood webslinger after he joins S.H.I.E.L.D.’s exclusive training program with four other teens, has drawn strong ratings for boys ages six through 14 since its debut in April 2012.
Man of Action is on board again as co-executive producers with creative consultant Paul Dini.
