Cartoon Network Enterprises (CNE) is set to debut Ben 10: Omniverse consumer products later this year, including new toys from Bandai, an interactive game from D3Publisher and apparel from Freeze, coinciding with the all-new series launching on the network this fall.
In Ben 10: Omniverse, the brand-new animated series from Cartoon Network Studios, Ben will have a new character design that pays homage to his past, along with a new batch of aliens to battle.
CNE’s long-standing partnership with Bandai will be extended through 2015 and includes rights for action figures, playsets, role play items and more in all territories at retail this fall.
Joining the all-new toys from Bandai, interactive partner D3Publisher will release the Ben 10: Omniverse video game in time for the holidays. In the game, fans can play in single-player or two-player co-op mode and will be immersed in action-brawler gameplay featuring the new art style inspired from the show. The Ben 10: Omniverse interactive game will be released on the upcoming Wii U system from Nintendo, the Wii system from Nintendo, Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3, Nintendo 3DS hand-held and Nintendo DS hand-held.
Ben 10: Omniverse-inspired youth apparel will also be available at all tiers of retail distribution this fall from partner Freeze.
Cartoon Network’s most successful original global franchise, the Ben 10 brand spans four animated series, one animated movie, two live-action movies, a CG-movie, a feature film currently in development and a consumer products line. Ben 10 products originally launched at retail in the US in July 2006 and have generated more than US$3 billion at retail worldwide to date.
