Infant/toddler-targeting TV network BabyFirst Americas has picked up 26 short-form episodes of New York-based Bilingual Children’s Enterprises’ new educational animated series Mili y Molo.

The bilingual series, which is produced in both Spanish and English and is based on author Mónica Mejías’ acclaimed book series of the same name, is set to air on the channel in February 2013 across the US.

Mili y Molo helps prepare toddlers and preschoolers for kindergarten by incorporating age-appropriate music and comedy that encourages them to sing, play, laugh and learn.

To date, more than 460,000 copies of the original Latino-oriented book series have been sold in Puerto Rico, Mexico, California and Canada combined.

Bilingual Children’s Enterprises is a transmedia language-learning company that targets US Hispanic and non-Hispanic families, kindergarten students and preschoolers.
