In following with its transition into the mobile games space, Moshi Monsters: Moshlings, Mind Candy’s first iPhone and iPad app based on its hit kids virtual world Moshi Monsters, is now available for download on the Apple App Store.

The 99-cent app for kids four and up includes more than 60 Moshlings and 100 stickers for users to customize and personalize their pet characters. Kids can also use secret codes that unlock special areas and content on MoshiMonsters.com, which to date has 60 million registered users in 150 territories worldwide.

The new digital release follows on the heels of Mind Candy announcing signing four new publishing partners including Penguin (and its imprint DK), Scholastic, Reader’s Digest, and Random House imprint Prima Games who are set to produce new children’s titles based on Moshi Monsters.

SkyJack is also set to launch Moshi Magazine for North America and Activision Publishing will debut Moshi Monsters: Moshlings Theme Park, the second title in the Moshi Monsters video game series, for Nintendo 3DS this fall.
