Disney Television Animation has begun production on The 7D, a new comedic animated series for kids ages two to seven and their families that is a contemporary look into the world of the Seven Dwarfs.

Disney Television Animation has begun production on The 7D, a new comedic animated series for kids ages two to seven and their families that is a contemporary look into the world of the Seven Dwarfs.

The series, which is executive-produced by Tom Ruegger (Animaniacs) and directed by Alfred Gimeno (Tiny Toon Adventures), is set to debut on Disney Junior channels worldwide in 2014 and is set in the magical world of Jollywood.

Under the watchful eye of Queen Delightful the seven dwarfs must find ways to save the kingdom from villains Grim and Hildy Gloom who plot to take over Jollywood by stealing magical jewels from the dwarf’s mine.
