Italy’s Mondo TV has secured a co-production and distribution deal with TV operator Russian Mobile Television (RMT) for a new 2D animated series based on the classic Russian property Cat Leopold, which first found success in the late 1970’s.

Mondo TV is on board to executive produce the first 13 x 13-minute-episode season.

Mondo TV and Mondo TV Consumer Products will handle audiovisual distribution (television and home video) and worldwide licensing and merchandising (excluding Russia and US) for five years after the series first airs in Russia.
