Disney Store has launched a Disney Villains Designer Collection, a new range of consumer products inspired by iconic Disney villains including 101 Dalmations’ Cruella de Vil and Sleeping Beauty’s Maleficent.

The collection, which will be available at DisneyStore.com in August, and at select US Disney Stores from September 2012, includes a series of six limited edition designer dolls, apparel, beauty products, home items and stationery.

Other villains featured are the Evil Queen (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs), Ursula (The Little Mermaid), Mother Gothel (Tangled), and the Queen of Hearts (Alice in Wonderland).

The new line follows the success Disney’s Princess Designer Collection, which launched in 2011. Disney Princess was one of the top selling licensed properties last year based on total dollar sales according to market research company The NPD Group.
