HIT Entertainment has partnered with AB Studio Licensing to launch a nine-month Angelina Ballerina Dance Academy curriculum to dance studios across North America this fall.

The program, inspired by the hit CG-animated series Angelina Ballerina The Next Steps which airs on PBS and Sprout, targets kids ages three to six and teaches beginner ballet at two levels. Dance education specialist Beverly Spell developed the curriculum and helped composer Scott Killian produce customized music along with original compositions from the series.

More than 100 studios have already applied to become Angelina Ballerina partner studios and access to Angelina Ballerina posters, signage, and costume accessories including tutus, mouse ears, and placement mats will be available to participating studios. Studios can also host character appearances and a one-week summer dance camp.

The program already exists in the UK and Ireland, as well as Australia and New Zealand.
