Toronto-based Guru Studio’s original CGI adventure series Justin Time is headed to Germany, the UK, Belgium, and Estonia, thanks to a number of new TV broadcasting partnerships.
Germany’s Super RTL (SRTL) has snapped up seasons one and two and will begin airing the series to German-speaking territories from December 2012.
UK-based Pop TV has also acquired seasons one and two for its Tiny Pop kids channel, which debuted the series on September 1.
Additional deals include Disney Junior Germany for season two and a March 1, 2013 debut, Estonia’s ETV for seasons one and two (airing November 1, 2012), and seasons one and two have also been snagged by Belgium’s VRT for a September 1, 2012 debut.
Created and developed by Brandon James Scott, Frank Falcone and Mary Bredin, the series made its US debut on PBS Sprout in April and is set to premiere on Astral’s Disney Junior channel in Canada on September 16.
Justin Time is also seen in Australia, New Zealand, and Latin America and the series has expanded into online and mobile games, books, and upcoming deals in categories including DVDs and music CDs.
