New York’s Little Airplane Productions and Belgium-based family entertainment prodco Studio 100 have partnered to produce a new 2D-animated Bumba preschool series designed for the international market.

An educational curriculum that helps preschoolers develop problem solving skills will also launch in conjunction with 52 x 11-minute educational series.

Little Airplane’s Josh Selig will handle executive producing duties and the series will be produced at Little Airplane Productions’ New York studio.

Since debuting in 2005, Studio 100’s Bumba series, about a lovable clown and his extraordinary circus, has been a ratings hit and the number one preschool brand in the Benelux.

The new series will focus entirely on action and movement and contain no dialogue or narration. Playful sound effects and live music will be featured in the tradition of the European circus.
