Vancouver, Canada’s Nerd Corps Entertainment is embarking on its first-ever preschool production Kate and Mim-Mim with FremantleMedia Enterprises acting as worldwide distributor and licensing agent outside of Canada. UK diginet CBeebies has already ordered up the first series of eps.

The 52 x 11-minute CGI series was created by husband-and-wife team Scott and Julie Stewart and developed by Nerd Corps. The character-driven comedy revolves around a fiesty girl named Kate and her stuffed bunny Mim-Mim. When Kate enters into her rich imaginary world, Mim-Mim grows to 10 times his sixe.

The first season should be headed to CBeebies airwaves in 2014 and Nerd Corps is in the process of building a larger preschool slate.
