ITV adds TMNT to lineup

UK broadcaster ITV has snatched up the first two seasons of Nickelodeon's new animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from Viacom International Media Networks.

UK broadcaster ITV has snatched up the first two seasons of Nickelodeon’s new animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from Viacom International Media Networks.

The series will air across ITV1 and CITV starting in the Spring. ITV and VIMN also announced deals for two of Nick’s live-action series Big Time Rush and Victorious.

So far, Viacom has inked a slew of broadcast deals for its new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles including, TVI / Televisão Independente S.A (Portugal), RTL Klub (Hungary), Rádio e Televisão Bandeirantes (Brazil), S&E Media Project Limited / STB QTV (Ukraine), ABS-CBN Corporation (Philippines) and Televisora Nicaraguaense S.A. (Nicuragua).

The series launched in the US in September and in the UK in October. It will roll out across other Nickelodeon channels  between now and December 2013.
