Atlantyca Entertainment’s digital development arm Atlantyca Lab has partnered with Italian game developer Forge Reply to create mobile apps based on author Joe Dever’s popular Lone Wolf fantasy gamebook series for young adults.

The new mobile experience will feature interactive text with 3D combat scenes and puzzles based on a new story penned by Dever that explores the battle of good versus evil in the fictional Dungeons and Dragons-like world of Magnamund.

Italy’s Atlantyca Lab, which aims to develop proprietary and third party IP for videogames, apps and internet content, purchased the rights to the Lone Wolf brand last year.

The original Lone Wolf IP launched in 1984 and international sales of the total 28 adventure gamebooks went on to exceed 10 million copies.
