Toronto, Canada’s 9 Story Entertainment has secured a new broadcasting deal that sees UK net  CiTV renew the 52 x 22-minute animated comedy series Almost Naked Animals for a third season.

Additional broadcasters already on-board for the third season include Super RTL (Germany), Canal+ France for its Canal+ Family and TéléTOON+ channels, Luk International (Spain and Portugal), YTV and VRAK (Canada), and Cartoon Network (US).

The series also airs on ABC (Australia), Disney Channel (Italy, India, Latin America, Spain, Portugal), Noga (Isreal), RTE (Ireland), DR (Denmark), and NPO’s children’s channel Z@pp/Zeppelin (Netherlands).

The deal follows recent news of UK licensing agent Lisle International securing a deal with Hachette Children’s Books that will see its Hodder Children’s Books division publish a range of titles based on Almost Naked Animals.

Almost Naked Animals features the misadventures of group of underwear-clad animal characters who run a beach-front hotel.
