Aardman launches Gumball online game globally

UK-based Aardman Digital has launched Dino Donkey Dash, an online game based on hit animated series The Amazing World of Gumball, globally on Cartoon Network websites across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

UK-based Aardman Digital has launched Dino Donkey Dash, an online game based on hit animated series The Amazing World of Gumball, globally on Cartoon Network websites across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

The action-adventure game, based on popular episode “The Quest,” features single- or two-player mini-games that blend the show’s 2D, 3D and live-action environments with interactive elements. Users can play as main cat character Gumball and pet goldfish Darwin and rewards and clips from the series can be unlocked along the way.

Since its online debut in the US this August, Dino Donkey Dash has been played 18 million times.

The news comes on the heels of Cartoon Network renewing The Amazing World of Gumball for a third season.
