After success on CBeebies in the UK, animated preschool series Cloudbabies is heading to new territories thanks to new broadcasting deals secured by children’s development, production and rights management company Hoho Entertainment.

The 52 x 10-minute series has been picked up by ABC in Australia, Hop! in Israel, S4C in Wales, PTS in Taiwan and Minimini in Poland.

Cloudbabies revolves around four childlike characters, Baba Pink, Baba Blue, Baba Yellow and Baba Green, and made its CBeebies debut last May.

Licensees already on-board in the UK include Vivid (toys), Penguin Children’s Books (publishing) and Hallmark Cards UK and Tigerprint (greeting cards).

The series is animated by Manchester-based Studio Liddell and Elastic Rights reps the series across Portugal, Turkey and Greece.
