PGS Entertainment makes new hires, appointments

Paris-based animation distributor PGS Entertainment, which represents more than 1000 half-hours of kids programming worldwide, has expanded its operations with an eye to expand its toys and games global licensing strategy in 2013.

Paris-based animation distributor PGS Entertainment, which represents more than 1000 half-hours of kids programming worldwide, has expanded its operations.

Guy Soutter has been named the company’s first CFO. He hails from Oberon, a capital development and growth equity company based in Paris, where he served as president, and before that he was CFO of the French Bank of Industry.

Laure Cubeau has been upped to head of operations, where she is now responsible for customer relations and licensing management via the company’s new digital-delivery system.

Former Chi Fou Mi Productions exec Charlotte Selignan has been named head of marketing and will oversee all of the company’s sales and marketing communications.

Meanwhile, Richard Bickersteth at Looking Forward Productions, has been signed as the company’s consultant on the toys and games global licensing strategy – an area the company has become more involved in over the past year and will expand significantly in 2013.
