Infant and toddler clothing based on the Fox International-owned BabyTV channel will launch this year following the brand’s first apparel licensing deals.
BabyTV, which airs in more than 100 countries globally, has inked a deal with retailer La Polar and clothing company Apolo Zona Libre for coordinated clothing ranges that are scheduled for retail launch during in selected countries across Latin America. La Polar has been granted a license to sell BabyTV clothing exclusively through its own retail stores in Chile, and Apolo Zona Libre has come on board as BabyTV’s clothing licensee for the territories of Central- and Latin America.
Both agreements were negotiated by BabyTV’s agent P&L Global and Fox Licensing & Merchandising, a business unit of Fox Latin American Channels (FLAC).
