Syfy Kids, the new sci-fi programming block dedicated to kids ages six to 10 from international children’s channel KidsCo, is set to launch in Central and Eastern Europe from June 2013.

The fully dubbed block, which was announced in February, will air exclusively on KidsCo at peak viewing times featuring an extensive lineup of original programming including a first-run exclusive of KidsCo’s animated series Zuzu & the Supernuffs from Matchbox Pictures.

Three recently acquired titles set to air from Corus-owned Nelvana Enterprises include the teen-skewing series Di-Gata Defenders, girl superhero-based Z-Squad and The Future is Wild.

In addition, acquired content from NBCUniversal includes animated series The Mummy and Earthworm Jim. Cookie Jar’s Dino Squad is also scheduled to launch.

KidsCo is currently looking for third-party content to complement its lineup later this year.
