German broadcaster Super RTL has acquired licensing rights for Vodka’s multi-platform property Bugsted in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Targeted at the core-kid demo, the program is available as a 13 x 0ne-minute mini series, a gaming-app for iOs and Android, and also has a line of collectible action figures in the works.

Bugsted follows the adventures of a group of mutated bugs from the Moon who find their way to Earth.  Their mission to return home is fraught with all kinds of  wacky problems and edgy humor.

Toyco Simba holds master toy rights for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Toys will be rolled out simultaneously with the game app in September. Super RTL  will support the launch with marketing measure across all platforms.
