As BabyFirst continues to flex its reach as a cable channel, the network has tapped Comcast/NBCU exec Matt Gentile to serve in the newly created role of SVP of ad sales and sponsorships.

Gentile will lead sales for the US-based baby-and mom-focused TV channel. He joins the network as it looks to bring a strong advertising focus to millennial moms and a rise in US household numbers from 35 million homes to 50 million.

Gentile spent the past 13 years as VP of advertising sales for Comcast/NBCU, where he represented a number of network brands including Sprout, E! and Style.
