Uglydoll inks beauty and personal care deal

Santa Monica, California-based Boldface Company has inked a deal with Pretty Ugly, the creators of design-led, kid-friendly brand Uglydoll, to produce a number of licensed beauty and personal care products.

Santa Monica, California-based Boldface Company has inked a deal with Pretty Ugly,  the creators of design-led, kid-friendly brand Uglydoll, to produce a number of  licensed beauty and personal care products.

Boldface intends to build a range of products and accessories utilizing the Uglydoll brand including bath, soap, shower and body care products and lip balms, fragrances and bath accessories.

The first range of Uglydoll plush launched in 2001 and has since  become a worldwide franchise success with an extensive line of licensed products and publishing lines. The brand has been showcased at Barneys, MoMA, Giant Robot, and Colette Paris, as well as Barnes & Noble and Toys ‘R’ Us.
