US-based music video and entertainment platform VEVO is enhancing its family content output through partnering with multiplatform children’s music channel myKaZootv.
Under the deal, myKaZootv will distribute for free its catalogue of 300+ music videos to VEVO’s 53 million US viewers who access the service via the web, mobile/tablet, connected TV and recently-launched VEVO TV channel.
The partnership is being ushered in with the world premiere of Zak Morgan’s music video for The Case of the Dry Markers.
myKaZootv joins a growing roster of VEVO family programming, which already includes Disney Interactive. The service says it is always seeking new partnerships to broaden the depth of its offerings.
In the past year, myKaZootv has inked content deals of its own with such kid-friendly streaming services as Toon Goggles and Ameba. For myKazoo, which caters to kids ages two to eight, the VEVO deal marks a step further into broader markets.
