Australian animation studio Flying Bark Productions has partnered with Aussie educational publisher Blake eLearning on a new 11 x seven-minute animated preschool web series entitled The Eggsperts.

Now in production and based on the successful e-learning website, Reading Eggs, the series targets kids ages four to seven and will be available for download on iOS and Android devices and to Reading Eggs subscribers.

To help kids learn to read, The Eggsperts features the use of phonemic awareness, letter recognition and socio-emotional learning. Episodes include sound and word play, rhymes and songs.

The series, produced by RE Productions and developed with the assistance of Australian funding body Screen NSW, follows main characters Sam, Jazz and Tom who embark on journeys to deliver eggs that hatch new critter friends in their homelands.
