Three-month-old Hyper Hippo Productions, led by former Disney Club Penguin execs Lance Priebe and Pascale Audette, has teamed with Oktobor Animation to launch the multiplatform game Mech Mice.
The online squad game, which will officially open beta on July 9 but has already established a social presence on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, will be available for Mac and PC this fall followed by mobile platforms later this year. Aimed at kids ages 10 and up, the game will feature challenges and the collection of digital action figures.
The property will also set the foreground for Hyper Hippo’s commitment to online safety and community awareness. For instance, for every game pre-order, the company will donate a free Mech Mice total access game account to various global children’s support programs.
