Nick makes preschool programming promotions

Nickelodeon has made promoted both Kay Wilson Stallings to the post of SVP of production and development, Nickelodeon Preschool, and Sarah Landy to the post of VP of production and development, Nickelodeon Preschool.

Nickelodeon has made promoted both Kay Wilson Stallings to SVP of production and development of Nickelodeon Preschool, and Sarah Landy to VP of production and development, Nickelodeon Preschool.

The announcement was made by Teri Weiss, EVP of preschool original programming, Nickelodeon Group, to whom they both report.

In her new position,  Stallings will now oversee the development of all original preschool series’ production, pre-buys, acquisitions and shorts programs. Her responsibilities will include recruiting animation, design, writing and music talent globally and internally, and developing relationships with educators who inform programming and content choices.

As VP of development and production, Stallings helped develop Nick stalwarts such as Backyardigans, Yo Gabba Gabba!, Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!, Lazytown and Peter Rabbit.

Landy is now responsible for overseeing the production of current series Bubble Guppies (pictured), Blaze and the Monster MachinesFresh Beat Band and Zack and Quack.  Additionally, she will lead the development and production of Nickelodeon Preschool shorts on Nickelodeon Preschool and Nick Jr., in partnership with the Nick Preschool internal development team.

Landy previously served as executive in charge of The Fresh Beat Band, Wonder Pets! and Toot and Puddle. She was also the production and development manager for LazyTown, Jack’s Big Music Show, Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch Friends, Blue’s Clues and the Curious Buddies.
