Mercury Filmworks, the Ottawa, Canada-based studio behind the newly launched animated series Chamelia, has hired former Nelvana executive Marianne Culbert as VP of production.
Replacing Bryan Popowich, Culbert will report to Clint Eland, Mercury Filmworks president, as she oversees the animation studio.
While working as a supervising producer and VP of production with Nelvana, Culbert stick-handled international co-production projects with Australia, France and Germany in both live-action and animation.
