Zodiak Kids has entered a first-look development deal with Kindle Entertainment, Collingwood & Co and A & O Studios.

The deal was conceived and managed for the producers by Dennis Kostyk of Kostyk Communications and will see Zodiak investing in productions with all three studios and handling the distribution for the projects.

Kindle Entertainment was set up by  Anne Brogan and Melanie Stokes in 2007.  The mcompany produces family entertainment and their kids’ portfolio includes CBBC’s action-adventure series Leonardo and CBeebies’ hits Get Well Soon and Big and Small.

Collingwood & Co. is has more than 20 years of experience in producing animated series and Specials for children.  Founded by Tony Collingwood, the company was behind preschool series: Animal Stories, Eddy & The Bear and Yoko! Jakamoko! Toto!

A & O Studios has been recently formed by Owen Stickler and Aron Evans.  They studio is  best known for the stop-frame prechool animation, Rastamouse.
