The Jim Henson Company has licensed its animated children’s series, Doozers, to Nickelodeon Australia. The series, based on the wee worker characters featured in Henson’s Fraggle Rock, debuted on Nick Jr. on October 7.
Doozers (52 x 11 minutes), produced by The Jim Henson Company and DHX Media, has also been making its way across Europe, the Middle East and Africa on Turner Broadcasting’s preschool channel, Cartoonito, which reaches 125 million homes. Further, Turner Enterprises has been appointed the product licensing rights for the same territories.
The series is also set to air on Discovery Kids Latin America and Cartoon Network Asia.
