German-based  brand management and media company m4e AG, a producer and distributor of kids and family entertainment programs, has named ex-Studio 100 exec Jo Daris as the newest member of its executive team.

He will be responsible for strategic and business development, contributing his long and successful business experience to the expanding international activities of the m4e AG.

Daris started his career in marketing working for major FMCG companies. He moved into the children’s area in 1999, holding various posts in the toy industry (going from sales to product development, working with well-known properties such as Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Totally Spies!, etc.). In 2006, Daris moved to the family entertainment sector, joining forces with Studio 100 to develop its international business and  was instrumental in the acquisition of E.M. Entertainment in Germany, the creation of Studio 100 Animation in France and the expansion into English-speaking markets (US/UK). In September 2013, he joined m4e after a 14-month break from the industry.
