The Hub Network has named Lou Fazio as SVP of scheduling, acquisitions and planning, which follows an internal reorganization last year that separated program development and production from program scheduling and acquisitions.

Fazio, who was head of program scheduling, acquisitions and planning since January 2010,  will now manage the two vital departments while directly reporting to Hub Network president and CEO Margaret Loesch.

Before joining the Hub, Fazio served as VP of program strategy and acquisitions at Game Show Network (GSN), where he managed scheduling and long-range planning for GSN’s programming development and acquisitions needs. Previously, Fazio was responsible for scheduling and planning for Toon Disney (now Disney XD) and ABC Kids, the Saturday morning children’s programming block on ABC Television.
