London-based ITV Studios Global Entertainment has announced two new UK and Ireland licensees for Platinum Films’ boy-skewing property, Matt Hatter Chronicles. The UK production house has also appointed Anya Hollis as VP of agents.
Hollis will be reporting to Trudi Hayward, SVP and head of global merchandising. Her remit is to manage international licensing agents for ITVS GE’s wholly owned properties such as Thunderbirds and third-party IPs, including Cut The Rope.
She previously held the role of head of commercial development B2B at the Science Museum Group, where she had managed licensing, publishing and the picture library across the group since 2011.
The new licensing partners are London Europe Group and Tactic Games UK. They will be launching product at retail from Q4 this year as part of the first phase of the consumer products roll-out strategy for the brand.
The London Europe Group is a supplier and distributor of animated toys, plush toys, gadget products, innovative housewares and giftware. Their new Matt Hatter range, launching at Toy Fair will feature watches and clocks, as well as back-to-school stationery lines.
In late 2014, Tactic Games UK will release a number of Matt Hatter puzzles with 3D elements.
