Tween-oriented video social network Viddiverse, which is heading into a beta launch, has received the nod of approval from a crop of kids content partners.
Nelvana Enterprises, Shaftesbury, Smoke Bomb Entertainment, Distribution 360, GINX TV and Zodiak Kids will all be contributing and licensing content to the startup network.
Viddiverse is set to launch in private BETA this month with more than a hundred hours of licensed content.
The New York-based social network will allow kids ages eight to 13 to watch videos in a COPPA-compliant environment that also encourages them to upload and record their own videos and edit them in Viddiverse’s studio. The site will officially go live next month.
