A set of free eBooks based on the preschool series The Adventures of Napkin Man is heading to mobile devices courtesy of Toronto, Canada-based Breakthrough Entertainment and broadcaster Kids’ CBC.

The eBooks, not unlike the daily show that airs on the CBC, aim to help children better understand their day-to-day emotions. The first two titles, Be A Clown (now available) and Find That Cape (available in March), will be accessible on the Kids’ CBC website. The next three ebooks, Penguin-A-Go-Go, Treasure for All and Say Hello, will launch in March on iOS devices in the App Store.

The Adventures of Napkin Man!  was created by Little Airplane Productions and produced by Breakthrough in association with Kids’ CBC . As in the series, the eBooks see preschool teacher Mr. Anthony (Murdoch Mysteries’ Yannick Bisson) frame the experience and act as the narrator of each story. The eBooks also feature games, songs and activities.
