9 Story primes geeky hero for global popularity

Galaxy Pop’s new animated comedy Get Ace, which follows the misadventures of a nerdy high school freshman who is accidentally fitted with high-tech braces, has been picked up for global distribution by Canada’s 9 Story Enterprises.

The international distribution arm of prodco 9 Story Entertainment has scored the worldwide distribution rights (excluding Australia and New Zealand) to the 52 x 11-minute series.

The toon recently premiered on Network TEN’s ELEVEN in Australia.

Get Ace is the latest offering from Gian Christian and Dina McPherson, founders of Melbourne, Australia-based Galaxy Pop. The showrunning duo direct and produce the series with Dina McPherson penning scripts.
