In an IP initiative that was first announced last fall, preschool producer Little Airplane Productions and theme park operator SeaWorld have unveiled details surrounding their new nature-friendly preschool series, entitled Billy Green Builds!

The jointly developed animation-and conservation-themed animated TV property is currently in development and will be presented to broadcasters at next month’s MIPTV in Cannes, France. The 52 x 11-minute series follows the adventures of seven-year-old Billy Green, who – in a solar-paneled vehicle – travels the globe to build environmentally friendly solutions that help animals in trouble. The show will feature music, diverse cultural elements as well as themes of problem-solving.

Little Airplane is behind such preschool shows as The Wonder Pets, 3rd & Bird and Small Potatoes. SeaWorld currently operates 11 US theme parks, and in 2011 the company began expanding its brand into media and entertainment platforms. SeaWorld Kids currently produces both custom and library-driven content programming in animation, TV, film, gaming, publishing and music.
