PGS inks more Chaplin & Co. deals

France's PGS Entertainment has scored more broadcast licensing deals for animated series Chaplin & Co. Produced by Method Animation, and commissioned by France Televisions and Rai Fiction, the series is now airing in more than 100 territories.

France’s PGS Entertainment has scored more broadcast licensing deals for animated series Chaplin & Co. Produced by Method Animation, and commissioned by France Televisions and Rai Fiction, the series is now airing in more than 100 territories.

Broadcasters that have recently acquired Chaplin & Co (104 x six minutes or 26 x 26 minutes) include Rai  (Italy), RTVE (Spain), Canal Panda (Spain), RSI (Italian Switzerland), TV2 (Norway), DR TV/DR Ramasjang (Denmark), LRT (Lithuania), Direct Sight/Pixel Channel (Ukraine), RUV  (Iceland) and Globosat (Brazil).

Previously, PGS secured licensing deals for the series with France 3 Ludo (France), VIP2000 (Portugal), VRT and RTBF (Belgium), MTV3 (Finland), Minimax (Eastern Europe), CTC (Russia), Netflix (US), TéléQuébec (Canada), KBSN (South Korea) and Cartoon Network (Japan), among others.

Multi-award-winning producer Method Animation updates Chaplin’s slapstick humor for today’s kids with CGI animation inspired by classic cartoons such as Mister Magoo and Tom and Jerry.
