Branded entertainment company Big Tent Entertainment has struck a deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to launch a new product line that incorporates viral hit property Domo with the iconic movie franchise Ghostbusters.

Set to land on US retail shelves this fall, the line will include collectible and plush products for a limited time featuring Domo transformed into eccentric characters (and scenes) from the otherworldly franchise, including Slimer and the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.

2014 marks the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters as the lengthy development process continues around the Sony sequel Ghostbusters 3.

Since Domo’s introduction as Japanese public broadcaster NHK’s mascot, the character has become a worldwide internet meme spawning online fansites, gaming properties, and a robust global licensing program.
