LadyBug crawls toward new continents

Paris-based PGS Entertainment has inked licensing deals for Zagtoon and Method Animation’s LadyBug series in Brazil, Canada and Australia that will come into effect in Q2 of next year.

The 26 x 26-minute TF1-commissioned animated series, created in collaboration with Japan’s Toei Animation, is headed to Gloob in Brazil, Telet-Quebec in Canada and to ABC in Australia.

LadyBug follows the story of Parisian junior high students who are also superheroes.

Disney Channel recently picked up the exclusive pay-TV rights to the series in Europe, Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, as well as free to air rights in Spain, Germany, Russia and Turkey.
