Nickelodeon live-action development SVP Brian Wright has left the company after a seven-year run with the kidsnet.
Wright, promoted to the SVP role in 2012, reported to original programming president Marjorie Cohn before her exit from the company last August to lead DreamWorks Animation’s TV strategy.
Wright joined Nickelodeon’s live-action development team in 2007. In his most recent post, he oversaw all live-action development and pilot production for Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, TeenNick and international co-productions. He has played a role bringing a number of series from pilot to air, including Big Time Rush, BrainSurge, Victorious, Bucket & Skinner’s Epic Adventures, Supah Ninjas and How To Rock.
