A second series of the animated preschool comedy Nina Needs to Go will premiere on Disney Junior across EMEA next year. After being pegged by Disney last year to produce 10 x 2.5-minute episodes, Bristol-based animation studio ArthurCox will deliver another five x 2.5-minute eps, inspired by the real-life experiences of its founder  Sarah Cox with her daughter.

Nina Needs to Go tells the story of  four-year-old Nina who “needs to go” at the most inopportune times, be it in a traffic jam or stuck in a long line at the mall. Her ex-secret agent Nana Sheila must come to the rescue to get her to the bathroom in time.

Nina is set to air in more than 150 countries and will join a lineup of shows that includes Henry Hugglemonster, which was also developed by Disney’s London studio.
