Cloudbabies flying into Germany, Austria and Switzerland

Hoho Rights tapped Active Merchandising to represent the preschool property in the German-speaking nations.

Hoho Rights, the commercial arm of UK company Hoho Entertainment, has tapped Düsseldorf, Germany-based licensing agency Active Merchandising to represent the preschool property Cloudbabies in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. The news comes in the aftermath that the public, commercial-free German TV station KiKA will start broadcast for 52 x 10-min eps of the CG animated series later this year.

Cloudbabies follows the adventure of Baba Pink, Baba Blue, Baba Yellow and Baba Green who live in a house on a big fluffy cloud. The series aims to introduce kids to the sky, including concepts such as day and night, sun and moon, and rainbows and stars.

The show currently broadcasts daily on CBeebies, and has picked up an array of international broadcasters including: ABC TV in Australia, TVNZ in New Zealand, S4C in Wales, TG4 in Ireland, MiniMini in Poland, RTP in Portugal, Al Jazeera Children’s Channel’s Baraem in the Middle East, Hop! in Israel, PTS in Taiwan, and TrueCorp in Thailand.
