All three seasons of Platinum Films’ Matt Hatter Chronicles have been snapped up by Cartoon Network in a multi-territory deal that will see the animated boys action series air in the Middle East, Africa and Southern Europe.

Cartoon Network Arabic premiered seasons one and two in July on its free-to-air service in the Middle East, and the brand-new third season will bow in spring 2015.

Master toy partner Simba Dickie is also set for the fall rollout of its Matt Hatter toy and back-to-school range (bags, stationery, role-play, vehicles, action figures) in the Middle East.

The IP’s fall consumer products program for the UK was recently announced, too.

Matt Hatter Chronicles is produced by Platinum Films and Toronto, Canada-based Dream Mill, and follows the adventures of a schoolboy whose life is changed forever when he discovers a secret dimension known as the Multiverse.

Since its debut on Nickelodeon and CITV in 2011, the series has gone on to air in more than 80 countries worldwide with broadcast partners including Teletoon (Canada), Network Ten (Australia), TVNZ (New Zealand), RTVE/Clan TV (Spain), Canal Panda (Portugal and Spain), RAI (Italy), SABC (South Africa), Megamax (Central Europe), Disney (Benelux) and Cartoon Network (India, Middle East, Turkey, Greece and Cyprus).
