Atlantyca acquires distribution rights for Bolts & Blip

Milan, Italy's Atlantyca Entertainment has purchased the distribution rights to stereoscopic 3D kids series Bolts & Blip from the show's producers' Redrover and ToonBox.

Milan, Italy’s Atlantyca Entertainment has picked up the distribution rights to stereoscopic 3D kids series Bolts & Blip from the show’s producers Redrover and ToonBox.

The deal will see Atlantyca distribute the 26 x 22-minute series for kids ages seven to 11 in Italy, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania.

Set on the moon in 20180, Bolts & Blip follows the comedic adventures of two robot friends that find themselves in over their heads after being suddenly drafted into the Lunar League of Robotic Sports.

The series currently airs in more than 70 territories, with broadcasters including Canal+ (France), Clan TVE (Spain), Nickelodeon (Benelux), Vortexx (US), ABC (Australia), KBS (Korea), Teletoon (Canada) and Cartoon Network (Latin America), and the IP has expanded into movies and apps.

Atlantyca will present Bolts & Blip at MIPCOM next month, along with additional animated series including Geronimo Stilton, Bat Pat, The Fixies and Taka & Maka.
