As it continues to grow its live-action comedic slate, Nickelodeon has greenlit two new pilots, The Dunes Club and Future Shock. It also renewed new original series Henry Danger (pictured) and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn for second seasons.

The Dunes Club (working title) comes from Heather Flanders (Lab Rats). Set in a fancy beach club, it follows the unlikely friendship between a sheltered, privileged boy and a street-smart local girl who takes a summer job to earn extra cash.

Future Shock (working title), meanwhile, comes from Mitchel Katlin and Nat Bernstein (See Dad Run). It follows two brothers who get the shock of their lives when a girl from the future accidentally sends the siblings, and their mom, to the year 2070.

Both pilots start production in January.

Nick’s live-action slate continues to strike a chord with kids ages six to 11. The most recent stats from Nielsen show that live actioners Henry Danger, The Thundermans, The Haunted Hathaways and Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn were the top-four rated live-action shows for this demo in the week of November 3 to 9 on US cable.
